Charles is an
experienced musician who has been playing guitar for over 30 years. He
received his formal education from West Georgia College as a classical guitar major, then
at Georgia State University where he earned his masters degree in
jazz studies. Performing in and around the Atlanta area Charles has
played jazz, rock, pop, classical and country.
Currently, Charles is pursuing music teacher certification at Ga. State University so he can teach music
in public schools. This includes training to teach general music,
band and orchestra classes. Because of this Charles has added drums,
flute, saxophone, violin and cello to his list of instruments he
teaches in private lessons.
